The Blue Ridge Food Pantry was born out of the question - what can we do to help hungry children and their families? 

In February 2023 we formed the Blue Ridge Food Pantry as a West Virginia Non-profit corporation and thereafter qualified to be a 501(c)(3) organization. As such, donations are tax deductible.

We have been very lucky to have received great community support in our efforts. Through the generosity of the Episcopal Diocese of West Virginia we have our pantry space. With the help of many volunteers we prepared the space for the pantry. And, with the help of generous donations from the community we opened our doors to the public on June 17, 2023.
